Why Our Oil is Unique

SMELL AND TASTE

Our canola oil is cold pressed on our farm in our licensed kitchen with no additional processing. This is why we can lay claim to our "all-natural" tag on the label. This means that our oil has the natural nutty taste and smells is the way canola oil was meant to smell. Large commercial companies use heat and/or chemicals to create a bland flavor.

COLOR

One of the first things most people notice about our oil is its deep, rich golden color. Our oil is not bleached or filtered so the color is natural. An occasional speck in the oil is just a protein rich bit of a canola seed. The color of the oil can vary from one growing season to another.  Our 2011 crop produced an oil with a brighter yellow color than the 2012 crop.
